PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of securing of function of an overhead console and securing of an arrangement space for an air bag fitted to a roof, in a vehicle equipped with an overhead console.SOLUTION: An inflator 46 is actuated when a vehicle 12 is involved in fine lap collision and oblique collision. Then, an air bag 42 fitted to a roof which is arranged as being folded along an outside periphery of an overhead console 32 in a plan view is inflated and deployed to the vehicle lower side. Thus, a head part H of an occupant D which moves inertially to the vehicle front side and the vehicle width direction inside can be restrained in an early stage by the air bag 42 fitted to the roof. Furthermore, a function of the overhead console 32 can be secured since the air bag 42 fitted to the roof is arranged as mentioned above under a state of being folded. |
