PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin storage device in which a control unit for discriminating whether or not a rod-like coin is stored in each storage groove and, when a rod-like coin is stored in a storage groove, to what type the rod-like coin belongs is provided at an appropriate position of a drawer.SOLUTION: A control unit 65 for discriminating, on the basis of an output of a coil or an optical sensor, whether or not, for each storage groove, a rod-like coin is stored, and when a rod-like coin is stored in a storage groove, to what type the rod-like coin belongs is provided at an area located on a drawing-direction deeper side of a drawer 3 and corresponding to a front protrusion C1 of the coin processing device, whereby a storage groove for coin is positioned at an appropriate position in terms of an operation of a coin storage device. |
