PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose technology enabling improvement in failure prediction accuracy with respect to failure prediction targeting a device such as an image forming device.SOLUTION: An image formation parameter collection part 1 collects multiple monitoring parameters showing an internal condition of an image forming device, and stores them in a time-series data storage part 2. A time-series data change point detection part 6 uses multiple change point detection algorithms to detect a change point where a fluctuation tendency of time-series data for each monitoring parameter changes, and a failure sign determination part 7 predicts occurrence of failure on the basis of the change point detected by each of the change point detection algorithms. An instrument use data collection part 3 collects instrument use data showing a use condition (maintenance condition and/or load condition) of the image forming device, and stores the data in an instrument use data storage part 4. An adjustment index calculation part 5 calculates an adjustment index on the basis of the instrument use data, outputs the calculated adjustment index to the time-series data change point detection part 6 and the failure sign determination part 7, and adjusts an aspect of failure occurrence prediction. |
