In a door or window frame comprising an upper frame (120), a lower frame (130) and a pair of side frames (110) supporting the same vertically, the present invention is to provide the door or window frame using dowels, wherein at least two horizontally formed through-holes (121) are formed in a length direction on the upper frame (120) and the lower frame (130), and a number of insertion holes (111) are formed in a fixed interval on the pair of side frames (110) so that the frames (110, 120, 130) are combined by dowels (140) inserted to the through-holes (121) and the insertion holes (111). According to the effect of the present invention, the door or window frame is designed optimally since the door or window frame is manufactured by a recycled synthetic resin and a number of hooking plate members holding the dowels tightly are formed on the side frame so as to prevent the frame from being twisted, although a steel reinforcement member is not used. Also, the through-holes are formed on the upper frame and the lower frame and a number of protrusions are formed to protrude inside the through-holes so that the dowels are caught tightly and are not deviated easily. Thus, solid bonding between the door (window) frame or the door frame (window frame) can be possible. |
