PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a vitrified bond grindstone in which a bond layer around abrasive grains has favorable characteristics of adhesion to the abrasive grains and wear resistance.SOLUTION: After molding a cBN coating layer 12 formed of glass and cBN grains on surfaces of abrasive grains 11 formed of cBN or diamonds, a mixed coating layer 13 mixed with only glass or with glass and an additive is formed outside the cBN coating layers 12, and pressurization-molded and sintered in a predetermined shape. Thereby, a cBN added layer 3 with favorable adhesion to the abrasive grains and suppressed in wearing is formed around the abrasive grains 11 so as to manufacture a vitrified bond grindstone 6 which hardly drops the abrasive grains during grinding. |
