FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical diagnostics and aims at predicting risk of developing primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG). In Russian individuals, natives of Central black earth region is determined age, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, presence of burdened family medical history, presence of accompanying non-infectious eye diseases, microvascular changes in conjunctiva, degree of pigmentation angle of anterior chamber, peripheral venous blood is sampled and DNA recovery, VEGF-A c.-958C>T (rs833061) gene polymorphism is analysed, after which value of discriminant values Dand Dare determined by formulas.
