A flat cable (1) includes the following: a first insulative film (2) on which conductors (4), two per set, are arrayed; and a second insulative film (3) attached to the first insulative film (2) with the conductors (4) therebetween. The first insulative film (2) is a resin film that is capable of undergoing a solder reflow process, and that has high heat resistance. The second insulative film (3) has a white-light reflectivity of at least 60%. In the longitudinal direction of the flat cable (1), the following are alternately formed: conductor-covered sections (1a) where the conductors (4) are covered by the second insulative film (3); and conductor-exposed sections (1b) where the conductors (4) are not covered by the second insulative film (3). The conductor-exposed sections (1b) are formed at a plurality of locations that include both edges of the flat cable (1). Light emitting elements (5) are soldered at conductor-exposed locations, excluding both edges of the flat cable, so as to straddle the conductors (4). |
