PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system which enables reduction in time required for rescuing an emergency case.SOLUTION: The elevator system 10 includes a typical floor receiving device 2a which is provided at a landing 13a of a typical floor and detects a rescue operation signal, a portable transmission device 1 which emits the rescue operation signal, and a control mechanism 3 which is communicably connected to the typical floor receiving device 1 and controls the operation of a car 9. The control mechanism 3 includes a mode control means 31 for controlling operation modes of the car 9 including at least a normal operation mode and a rescue operation mode, and a destination floor setting means 32 for setting the destination floor of the car 9. When the typical floor receiving device 2a detects the rescue operation signal from the portable transmission device 1, the mode control means 31 sets the operation mode of the car 9 to the rescue operation mode, and the destination floor setting means 32 sets the typical floor to the destination floor of the car 9. |
