PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat diffusion device which enables a robust electrode part to be formed even when a material containing a carbon component is used as a heat diffusion plate.SOLUTION: The heat diffusion device includes: a heating body 110; a heat diffusion plate 121 which diffuses heat emitted from the heating body 110 in a plate surface direction and a plate thickness direction; and an electrode part 150 forming an output part of electric power input to the heating body 110. The heating body 110 is disposed on one side plate surface of the heat diffusion plate 121 so as to enable heat conduction and electric conduction to the heat diffusion plate 121. The heat diffusion plate 121 is formed by a material containing a carbon component, and the electrode part 150 is joined to a plate surface direction end part of the heat diffusion plate 121 through a conductive joining layer 160.
