PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for easily predicting DMTS generation using a general compound as an index mark.SOLUTION: The DMTS generation prediction method of the invention comprises: a step of measuring concentration of a causative agent of at least one kind selected from a group of an amine, a sulfur-containing compound and a sugar about a sample in which the amine, the sulfur-containing compound, and the sugar are regarded as the causative agents of the DMTS generation; and a step of predicting the DMTS generation from the concentration of the causative agent measured in the measuring step. The amine regarded as the causative agent is at least one amine selected from a group of an ethanol-amine, a putrescine, a histamine, a &bgr;-phenethyl amine, an ethyl-amine, an n-butyl amine, an isobutyl amine, a spermidine, and a cadaverine. |
