The present invention provides an interconnect and an operating method of the interconnect. The interconnect is configured to connect a plurality of master devices with a plurality of slave devices, and comprises: a failure management circuit device used for serializing transactions with respect to an overlapping address; and a gating circuit device for guaranteeing a record monitoring (OWO) operation ordered in an interface with respect to one or more of the master devices, receiving a transfer of a record address of record transactions, and performing a gating operation for controlling forward propagation of the transfer of the record address on the slave devices, wherein the gating circuit device performs the gating operation under the control of the failure management circuit device. Accordingly, for the record transactions for which a failure check is performed by the failure management circuit device, the present invention removes necessary for implementing other arbitrary processes for specifically managing the OWO operation for the record transactions. |
