The system has a robot arm (16) movable along a guideway (4), and a nozzle attached to the robot arm for spraying a cleaning agent e.g. water and foam, on a food processing system. The nozzle is selectively moved to multiple points of the food processing system by moving the robot arm, for cleaning the food processing system. The robot arm includes multiple degrees of freedom for the movement of the nozzle. The guideway is attached above the food processing system, and runs along an outer contour of the food processing system. An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning a food processing system. |
