PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste composition which enables the formation of a thin wiring line and the materialization of good electrical connection, and a solar battery having a light-receiving surface electrode formed by use of the paste composition.SOLUTION: A paste composition for forming a silver electrode 12 disposed on a light-receiving surface of a solar battery 10 comprises: silver powder; perovskite oxide powder; and glass powder, which are dispersed in organic medium. The perovskite oxide is expressed by the general formula (1): ABO. The perovskite oxide includes at least one element selected from lanthanoide series elements (Ln), and at least one element selected from strontium (Sr), calcium (Ca) and barium (Ba) at A sites; and at least cobalt (Co) and iron (Fe) at B sites; δ represents an oxygen deficiency amount. The glass powder includes a tellurium (Te) component at least in part. |
