The present invention is to provide a data storage system including a plurality of storage devices performing resource sharing. An operating method of the data storage system including storage devices comprises: a step of transmitting a packet including information about whether to perform resource sharing in the storage devices to a host; a step of receiving ID information of the storage devices capable of performing resource sharing of the storage devices from the host in the storage devices; a step of transmitting a resource sharing request message from any one storage device to the other devices among the storage devices capable of performing the resource sharing; and a step of performing the resource sharing in at least one of the other storage devices.
