The present invention relates to a wastebasket including a vacuum pumping device and, more specifically, to a wastebasket including a vacuum pumping device, which improves a storage period of food by forming the inside of the wastebasket in a vacuum state by sucking air in the wastebasket. According to the present invention, the vacuum pumping device includes: an air piston having an O-ring groove connected to an O-ring and formed on a side, an air discharge hole formed to penetrate an upper plate of the O-ring groove, and a rod protruding from the upper surface; a cylinder connected to the upper part of the air piston and having the lower part comprising an open side wall and a cover, wherein the cover has an insertion hole and a through hole in which the rod of the air piston is inserted; an elastic spring connected between the air piston and the cylinder; an operating unit inserted into the insertion hole of the cylinder and connected to the rod of the protruding air piston by a hinge; and a cylinder cover having an exhaust hole on one side and enclosing and covering the outer side and the upper surface of the cylinder and the operating unit. According to the present invention, the vacuum pumping device installed in the wastebasket can suck air by simple control and can form an efficient vacuum state by having a good suction force for air. Also, the vacuum pumping device has a simple structure and can be easily manufactured and assembled. So, the vacuum pumping device can reduce manufacturing costs and, therefore, is economical. |
