PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processor, which can restore continuous luminance distribution information from a captured image which has information only discretely.SOLUTION: An image acquisition section which non-continuously acquires luminance information includes: a fiber bundle 3 where a plurality of fibers are bundled; and a CCD sensor 13 in which pixels for converting optical information transmitted by the fiber bundle into an electric signal are two-dimensionally arranged. An image processor 25 extracts a plurality of pixel regions having the luminance information, calculates a luminance centroid position and a centroid luminance value in the plurality of extracted pixel regions, calculates isotropic luminance distribution information over the pixel region which does not have the luminance information by using the calculated luminance centroid position and centroid luminance value and adds a plurality of pieces of isotropic luminance distribution information to restore the luminance information. |
