PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connection member and the like which is excellent in manufacturability, has a guide hole having a high guide pin holding force, is compact, and does not cause an increase in the number of components.SOLUTION: A guide hole 3 is a hole having a straight shape with a constant diameter in which spiral grooves and the like are not formed, and is formed substantially vertically in an end face of a ferrule 1. A guide member 5 is provided in the guide hole 3. The guide member 5 is made of an elastic material such as a metal. The guide member 5 comprises a cylindrical part 7 corresponding to the guide hole 3, and an elastic part 9 folded-back from one end portion. The elastic part 9 is folded-back from a position near the end face of the ferrule 1 in an insertion direction of a guide pin toward the center of the guide hole 3. In the circumferential direction of the guide hole 3, the elastic part 9 is formed at only one position. |
