PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of working efficiency at the time of loading a gas generating agent, and to obtain a more ideal combustion characteristic.SOLUTION: An inflator for airbag 11 generates gas for deploying an airbag and includes a pressure container 2, an initiator for ignition, and a gas generating agent 5. The pressure container 2 includes a base 2b and a diffuser 2a joined to the base 2b, which has a gas exhaust nozzle 2aa for ejecting gas to the outside. The gas generating agent 5 has a plurality of pellets, forms a gas generating body accommodated in a packaging container 12 in a vacuum state so that the plurality of pellets do not move relatively to each other, and is accommodated in the pressure container 2. Thus it is possible to improve working efficiency at the time of loading a gas generating agent, and obtain a more ideal combustion characteristic. |
