PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety of a file by use of secret sharing technology without requiring special user operation.SOLUTION: A directory virtualization section 10 presents shared-directory information and existing-file information to a user terminal 4, and receives a file operation request on the shared directory, from the user terminal 4. When the request is to write a new file in the shared directory, a secret-sharing section 12 secret-shares a new file received from the user terminal 4, to generate fragment files. A distribution section 14 stores the fragment files in storage apparatuses 5 in a distributed manner. When the request is to read the existing file from the shared directory, a collectin section 16 collects the fragment files on the existing file from the storage apparatuses 5. A restoration section 18 restores the existing file from the fragment files, and transmits the existing file to the user terminal 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
