Provided are a jig and a press-fitting device that are capable of suppressing buckling even when press-fitting a press-fit terminal. The jig (10) has a jig unit (11) wherein a plurality of metal plate-shaped bodies for attaching a press-fit terminal (35) on to a substrate (42) are combined. The jig unit (11) comprises: a movable guide member (12) having a guide groove (14) through which a terminal main body (38) can pass; an insertion punch (18) having a punch groove (20) corresponding to the guide groove (14), and having a pressing section (23) formed therein; and a rear surface plate body (26). The movable guide member (12) and the rear surface plate body (26) are attached so as to be vertically movable relative to the insertion punch (18) and, while the press-fit section (39) is being press-fitted into the substrate (42) by the insertion punch (18), the movable guide member (12) and the rear surface plate body (26) move upward relative to the insertion punch (18) after the lower sides (12a, 26a) thereof come in contact with the substrate (42). |
