The present invention relates to an absorbent article inspection method whereby it is possible to inspect for the presence of adhesion of a semi-transparent non-woven fabric. Provided is an absorbent article inspection method of inspecting a positioning of a semi-transparent sheet (21) which is disposed upon a configuration component which configures an absorbent article whereupon a printing is carried out, said method comprising: a step (S3) of projecting an illumination light (L) upon the configuration component whereupon the semi-transparent sheet (21) is disposed, and capturing images of inspection regions (31) upon printed regions (33) whereupon the printing is carried out, said inspection regions (31) including the semi-transparent sheet (21); a step (S5) of acquiring color information from the captured images; a step (S22) of comparing a pre-acquired color range of the semi-transparent sheet (21) with the acquired color information and extracting regions wherein the semi-transparent sheet (21) is present; and a step (S6) of determining the quality of the positioning of the semi-transparent sheet (21) on the basis of the extracted regions wherein the semi-transparent sheet (21) is present. |
