PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet device which, in a case having a risk of generating dust from an edge of a recording medium, can prevent the dust from adhering to a liquid jet head.SOLUTION: A liquid jet device includes: a transport roller 12 which, in a state where a recording paper P is held between a pair of rollers 12a, 12b capable of holding the recording paper P from both front and rear sides, transports the recording paper P between a nozzle forming surface 22a of a recording head 22 and a support member 30 from the upstream side in a transport direction by rotating the rollers; and a receiving member 41 which is provided so as to take at least a position state where a holding position is located on the nozzle forming surface side with respect to an edge on the upstream side in the transport direction of the recording paper P passing through from the upstream side to the downstream side in the transport direction, at a receiving position between a holding position of holding the recording paper P by the rollers in a transport path transporting the recording paper P and a facing position where the recording paper P faces the nozzle forming surface 22a on the support member 30 and between the support member 30 and the nozzle forming surface 22a. |
