Air/water heat pump with a heat exchanger in a housing

The pump (1) has a heat exchanger (20) conveying air using a ventilator (50) and enabling heat exchange between the air and refrigerant provided in the heat exchanger. An air channel (30) is arranged at a side of the pump and comprises an opening (32) for the heat exchanger. The opening comprises a boundary (33) and an edge (34). The boundary for air guidance partially lies at height of an end (25) of the heat exchanger. The edge horizontally extends into a height of a region (22) of a middle axis (21) of the heat exchanger. An independent claim is also included for a method for guiding air into an air/water heat pump.
