PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wandering prevention system that enables easy and quick search for a wanderer carrying a transmitter for performing radio communication and adjusts the system so as to reduce overall power consumption.SOLUTION: A wandering prevention system includes: one or more transmitters 10 having a function as a slave in BLE (Bluetooth (R) Low Energy) communication; and a portable terminal 20 having a function as a master in BLE communication. The transmitters are held by persons who are taken care of. Regarding transmitters 10 corresponding to one or more received broadcast signals, the portable terminal 20 obtains the specific information and information on distance from the transmitters 10 from the contents of the broadcast signals, obtains information identifying taken-care-of persons holding the transmitters 10 on the basis of the specific information, determines that the taken-care-of persons are situated in a prescribed region, and outputs it on the screen of the portable terminal 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
