An anatomical side marker (ASM) used in radiography is fitted with a suction cup mount. The device may be made from a plastic material such as polyurethane, to ease cleaning and may have a metal disc moulded into the device. The metal disc may have an L or R cut out, denoting left or right. The use of a suction cup allows the device to be located in any position or orientation on a digital imaging receptor [figure 4] in order to prevent the image being accidentally flipped. |
