The purpose of the present invention is to provide an adsorbent which enables solid-phase extraction, which has high efficiency even for water soluble molecules and which has excellent selectivity, and to provide an analysis system using said adsorbent. This adsorbent is characterized by including the structure represented by formula I. (In formula I, R is a carrier component, and the parts other than R are side chain functional groups. R and the benzene ring in the side chain functional groups are connected directly or through one or more atoms. R' is selected from a group consisting of a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group, an amino group, an alkylamino group, a thiol group and an alkyl sulfide group.
