A double cylinder lock with internal and external cylinders 4, 5 (in use) separated by rotatable cam 6 and stop means to hinder operation of lock when external cylinder is snapped off. Preferably stop means is an annular flange 7a on an external surface of cam 6, the radial flange 7a located within grooved channel 15 adjacent the internal cylinder 4. The radial flange 7a prevents axial displacement of the cam. The rotatable cam 6 may have a reduced cross section at the lug 6a forming a weakened region 17. |
