OPTICAL COMBINER, OPTICAL NETWORK UNIT AND OPTIC-WIRELESS COMBINATION COMMUNICATION SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME

The present invention relates to an optical combiner, an optical subscriber network unit, and a wired/wireless integrated optical transmission system including the same and, more particularly, to a wired/wireless integrated optical transmission system that integrates an optical line terminal (OLT) and a digital unit (DU) of a long term evolution (LTE) communication system and transmits communication signals by using a passive optical network (PON). The wired/wireless integrated optical transmission system may include an optical combiner that combines a wired communication signal received from an optical line terminal and a wireless communication signal received from a digital unit (DU) to generate an optical transmission signal; an optical network unit (ONU) that classifies the wired communication signal and the wireless communication signal from the optical transmission signal to distribute the wired communication signal and the wireless communication signal to subscriber terminals; and a subscriber terminal that includes an optical network terminal (ONT) that provides an optical communication service by using the wired communication signal or a remote unit (RU) of an LTE communication system that provides a mobile communication service by using the wireless communication signal. A coverage of an LTE communication service for the interior of a building or a specific area can be easily secured by using an existing wired internet optical line network.
