Provided by the present invention are a refrigerator and a door assembly of the refrigerator. The present invention prevents a boundary, generated in a coupling part between a door plate and a door cap, from being exposed to the front side by improving a coupling structure between the door plate and the door cap. The refrigerator includes the door assembly which opens and closes the open front side of a storage room, wherein the door assembly includes a front plate and lateral plates arranged to be bent toward the rear side from both lateral sides of the front plate. The door assembly has: the door plate having a bent part arranged in the upper end of the front plate; the door cap which covers the upper part of the door plate and arranges a grip groove to be open upwards between the bent part and the door cap; and a combining unit which is combined with the door cap. The door assembly also includes a door cap support unit which is fixated on the bent part in order to be positioned in the rear side of the bent part.
