According to embodiments of the present invention, disclosed are a display apparatus and a displaying method. The display apparatus according to an embodiment comprises: a display which displays at least some items of an item list where each item area comprises a plurality of items, and provides at least one item area; and a control unit. On one end of the item list displayed on the item area, in a response to an input of a controller corresponding to a movement in one direction of the item list, the control unit bounces the item list in the other direction and moves the same in the one direction, such that the control unit controls the display to display items arranged on the other end of the item list from the other end of the item area.
