PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of achieving low cost and compactness by using a plurality of lenses made of resin and capable of forming an excellent image by suppressing color shift and color unevenness and to provide an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes a plurality of light source means, incident optical systems which are ones corresponding to luminous fluxes emitted from the light source means respectively and are arranged side by side and include lenses having positive refractive power, respectively, deflection means deflecting and scanning the luminous fluxes through the incident optical systems in a main scanning direction, respectively, and imaging optical systems corresponding to the luminous fluxes deflected and scanned by the deflection means and imaging the luminous fluxes on surfaces to be scanned, respectively. The lenses made of resin include gate parts respectively. The gate parts are provided in areas which are partial angle areas around the optical axes of the lenses and are angle areas symmetrical with each other in the main scanning direction or a sub-scanning direction, respectively. |
