PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector in which a flexible optical waveguide is mounted with a sufficient positional accuracy, and a method of producing an optical connector in which a positioning member and a flexible optical waveguide of the optical connector are integrated.SOLUTION: An optical connector 10 includes a positioning member 40 that aligns a fiber core 21 of a short optical fiber 20 with a waveguide core 31 of a flexible optical waveguide 30 in a light propagation direction to hold them, and a ferrule 11 that stores the optical fiber and flexible optical waveguide held by the positioning member. |
