A system and method for creating a visual display on an outer surface of a turntable platter. The system comprises :
A housing having a reflective surface in an inner edge of its top plate;
a platter that includes a number of reflective nodes on its outer peripheral surface;
a plurality of light sources positioned in a plane below the top plate, indirectly lighting, via the reflective surface, the refelective nodes;
the reflective nodes project a visual light display around the outer periphery of the platter thereby creating a visual effect, for instance a stroboscopic effect. |
