摘要 The present invention relates to a traffic signal control system. The traffic signal control system resolves a problem of a conventional master local controller where switch modules of all traffic lights are installed to unnecessarily occupy a large space, lower appearance efficiency, and frequently cause a failure by installing a master local controller (MLC) and slave local controllers (SLCs) between traffic lights, and separately installing a switching mode power supply (SMPS) on each slave local controller to switch and control traffic lights assigned to the slave local controller. The master local controller (MLC) and each slave local controller (SLC) are connected by a cable of a single module. The master local controller (MLC) comprises an active circuit which converts supplied high voltage AC power into low voltage DC power when the high voltage AC power is supplied from the outside to supply the low voltage DC power to each cable to efficiently prevent an overload phenomenon generated when power is supplied to all traffic lights by a single power line. Since the active circuit does not need to be installed on each slave local controller, an equipment failure and a replacement phenomenon can be markedly reduced. The master local controller (MLC) and the slave local controllers (SLCs) are connected by a ring network method to increase communication reliability and safety.
