According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a heat storage apparatus comprising: a heat storage chamber which accommodates a heat storage body, storing and dissipating heat of the heat storage body by flowing a high temperature or a low temperature gas inside or outside; a gas flowing part which flows the gas inside or outside the heat storage chamber, controlling an amount of flow of gas in accordance with an amount of opening of the inside; a temperature measurement part which measures temperature while being installed in the heat storage chamber; and a control part which calculates a difference in temperature inside the heat storage chamber, and controls the difference in temperature in the heat storage chamber to be uniform by controlling the amount of flow of the gas. The heat storage apparatus is able to improve heat storage or dissipation efficiency of the heat storage chamber.
