The present invention relates to a method for controlling an operation point during regenerative braking of a hybrid vehicle and, more specifically, is to provide a method for controlling an operation point during regenerative braking of a hybrid vehicle, which monitors behavior of a front vehicle to determine whether braking for stopping the vehicle is needed and to allow a restricted skip shift. The present invention provides the method for controlling the operation point during regenerative braking of the hybrid vehicle, performing the regenerative braking when the vehicle is stopped to generate motor charging torque, which comprises the steps of: determining whether braking for stopping the vehicle is needed; and allowing skip speed change for performing two or more stage speed change at once and performing the speed change to a target speed change stage according to an open value of a brake pedal. |
