The present invention relates to an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display device and a driving method therefor in which different threshold voltage compensation values are applied to driving thin film transistors (TFTs), which are arranged for subpixels of a display panel, respectively, according to a grayscale of image data supplied to the subpixels such that different driving TFT threshold voltages are applied according to a grayscale. The OLED display device according to the present invention comprises: a threshold voltage detecting unit which calculates threshold voltages for driving TFTs which are provided in respective subpixels; and a threshold voltage compensating unit which receives the threshold voltage information of the driving TFTs and grayscale information of an image data from outside, generates threshold voltage compensation values for grayscales, generates image data to which the threshold voltage compensation values for grayscales are applied, and delivers the image data to a data driver. According to the present invention, threshold voltages of driving TFTs can be optimally compensated. |
