External electrodes (20a, 20b), which are electrically connected to exposed portions (18a, 18b) of internal electrodes (16a, 16b), are formed on end surfaces (12e, 12f) of a ceramic main body (12) of a multi-layered ceramic condenser (10). Alloy layers (22a, 22b) of metal contained in the internal electrodes (16a, 16b) and metal contained in the external electrodes (20a, 20b), are formed at the boundaries among the external electrodes (20a, 20b), the ceramic main body (12), and the internal electrodes (16a, 16b). Plating layers (24a, 24b) are formed on surfaces of the external electrodes (20a, 20b). A ceramic electronic component having a reduced ESR is thus provided. |
