PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic water faucet which allows a manual operation for switching cutoff water, and is suppressed in an erroneous operation such as, for example, erroneous cutoff to a puddled washtub, and high in operation reliability.SOLUTION: An automatic water faucet 1 comprises: object determination means 321 which determines whether or not an object to be detected exists in a water discharge region; continuous water discharge control means 331 which switches the water faucet to a continuous water discharge state and a cutoff state according to an operation of water discharge/cutoff operation means 167; automatic water discharge control means 332 which performs the opening/closing control of an opening/closing valve according to a determination result by the object determination means 321; and puddle determination means 322 which determines whether or not a puddle state arises. When the water faucet is switched to the cutoff state from the continuous water discharge state by an operation of a manual at a user side, the water faucet operates in an erroneous water discharge prohibition mode until it is determined that the puddle state does not arise. |
