PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video/audio recording and reproduction device capable of precisely collecting and recording a sound generated at any of multiple positions within the angle of view and reproducing the recorded sound.SOLUTION: An audio signal arithmetic unit 12 arithmetically processes an audio signal collected by a plurality of microphone elements in an array microphone, and generates audio signals from a plurality of angle directions in the horizontal direction as a multichannel audio signal. A video/audio recording processing unit 16 processes the video signal of the subject photographed by a video image-pickup device 18 and the multichannel audio signal so as to be recorded on a recording medium 40. When a prescribed operation to reproduce the multichannel audio signal is performed, a video synthesis unit 25 superposes additional information on the video signal. A control unit 20 determines, according to the position or direction of additional information, an audio signal from an angle direction in the horizontal direction to be reproduced out of the multichannel audio signal. |
