The present invention relates to a polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) hollow fiber membrane and a production method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a PVDF hollow fiber membrane which exhibits excellent pressure resistance and water permeability and also satisfies the superior removal rate as well. The present invention further relates to a production method thereof. To this end, the PVDF hollow fiber membrane includes a hole and a separation layer formed along an outer circumferential surface of the hole.
