PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conventionally unavailable plunger unit capable of performing a smooth operation by minimizing variations in holding force and having high positioning performance, and to provide a positioning device including the same.SOLUTION: A plunger unit 10 includes: a rolling element 15; a rolling element holder 14 for holding the rolling element 15; a linear motion guiding unit 13 for freely guiding the rolling element holder 14 in a linear direction; and an elastic member 16 attached to apply a biasing force to the rolling element holder 14. The linear motion guiding unit 13 includes a track rail 13a, and a moving block 13b which is assembled to freely roll or slide in a longitudinal direction of the track rail 13a and to which the rolling element holder 14 is attached and fixed. The elastic member 16 is attached to apply a biasing force parallel to the moving direction of the moving block 13b to the rolling element holder 14. |
