PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information processor that can simplify an operation to control the sound volume when reproducing media data using an external reproduction apparatus.SOLUTION: A portable information processor 1 comprises a speaker 19; a wireless LAN connection part 12 and an HDMI connection part 15 which can be connected to an external reproduction apparatus that can reproduce media data; a CPU 21 for controlling reproduction of the speaker 19; and a sound volume control button 20 used in common at the sound volume control of the media data to be reproduced by the speaker 19 and the external reproduction apparatus. The CPU 21, at least when the media data is reproduced by the external reproduction apparatus and not by the speaker 19, switches the subject for the sound volume control to the reproduction volume of the external reproduction apparatus, and controls the reproduction volume of the external reproduction apparatus without controlling the sound volume of the speaker 19, on the basis of the control operation of the sound volume control button 20 by a user. |
