PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure torque with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A torque measuring device 1 includes: a metallic and beam-like strain generating section 5 stretched between a primary side structure 4 and a secondary side structure 3; a thin film strain sensor which is disposed on the plane perpendicular to the torque central axis in the strain generating section 5 and detects the strain amount of the strain generating section 5; and a signal processing section which directly performs torque calculation on the basis of the strain amount detected by the thin film strain sensor. Torque is transferred from one structure to the other structure via the strain generating section 5. |
