The present invention relates to a composition for controlling pests. More particularly, the present invention relates to a composition for controlling pests comprising extracts of Azadirachta indica, Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium, Sophora flavescens, Nicotiana tabacum L., Nicotiana Glauca, Melia azedarah var. japonica, Allium sativum L., Acorus calamus L., Tagetes erecta and Ginkgo biloba L. as active ingredients, and a method for controlling pests by using the same. The composition comprising such plant extracts as active ingredients according to the present invention is useful for killing pests such as Bemisia tabaci and Tetranychus kanzawai Kishida, is eco-friendly, and has an action mechanism different from that of the existing chemical pesticides to overcome a problem related with tolerance, thereby controlling pests more effectively. |
