The present invention relates to a drum-type fruit washer produced to be able to wash fruits by water pressure and water currents which occur by the rotation of a rotation plate. The drum-type fruit washer comprises: a washing tank; an internal drum having 2-4 protrusion parts formed to rotate fruits and generate a vortex, and having a fruit discharging unit and a hinged opening and closing plate; a slide plate disposed in the washing tank in the opposite side of the fruit discharging unit formed in the internal drum to discharge fruits; a rotation plate having 2-4 protrusion parts formed to generate water currents, wherein the rotation plate is installed to be separated between a lower side of the internal drum and the washing tank; and a water spraying unit installed in an upper side between the washing tank and the internal drum for discharging washed fruits from the internal drum, and finally washing the fruits washed in the internal drum. According to the present invention, when fruits are washed, fruits are rotated and washed by water pressure and water currents which occur by means of the rotation plates filled in the internal drum, so a large quantity of fruits can be washed and fruits can be prevented from being damaged. When fruits are washed in water by the washing tank and the internal drum and are discharged, the fruits are finally washed by water sprayed at high pressure. Thus, fruits can be more cleanly and hygienically washed. |
