An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for providing a fraud payment prevention service, which is performed by a user location-confirmation server. The method for providing a fraud payment prevention service comprises the steps of: receiving a fraud payment confirmation request from a card company server which receives a payment request from an affiliate terminal; transmitting a message to a user terminal based on user terminal information included in the fraud payment confirmation request; receiving confirmation information of the message and location information of the user terminal from the user terminal; determining whether a location of an affiliate where the payment has been performed and a location of the user terminal are in a critical range, based on affiliate information included in the fraud payment confirmation request and the received location information of the user terminal; and determining the corresponding payment as true payment only when the location of the affiliate and the location of the user terminal are in a critical range and transmitting the determination result to the card company server.
