PURPOSE:To capture particles by the surface of a filter and to easily prevent clogging by back washing by forming a thin porous ceramic film on one side of a laminate of metal fibers by plasma spraying and using the ceramic film as a filter medium. CONSTITUTION:A thin porous ceramic film 12 as a filter medium is formed on one side of a laminate 11 of metal fibers to produce a ceramic filter. The laminate 11 is formed by laminating metal fibers, etc., and the ceramic film 12 of porous alumina is formed on one side of the laminate 12 by plasma- spraying alumina. |
