PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve that is attached to the pipeline of a nuclear power plant, is free of cobalt, is excellent in abrasion resistance, impact resistance and corrosion resistance, and can maintain excellent fluid sealability for a long period.SOLUTION: A safety valve is attached to the pipeline of a nuclear power plant. A valve seat surface 13 is formed of an alloy that comprises 51-55 mass% of chromium, 1.5-10 mass% of tungsten, 0.1-3.0 mass% of silicon and 0.1-1.5 mass% of boron, and whose residual part comprises nickel and inevitable impurities.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
