Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication are provided. In an embodiment, a method of determining a set of communication parameters for a wireless communication includes transmitting, at an access point, one or more frames each including a transmission power indication, receiving, at the access point, a probe request using a first set of communication parameters; and transmitting, at the access point, a probe response using a second set of communication parameters, the second set of communication parameters based on the first set of communication parameters. In some aspects, each of the first and second set of communication parameters define a MCS, which defines a coding rate of the communication. |
